The contractor selection process is particularly arduous due to the level of service throughout the claim process.
To be selected to tend to the jobs we have to ensure our workmanship is to the highest level of standards, we do this by attending extra training courses regularly throughout the year, carrying out visits to ongoing jobs by supervisors to make sure all works are up to date, and becoming part of federations and systems which provide the team with the correct skills needed to complete the works professionally.
Our Onsite Team
All our permanent site staff hold CSCS card which validates their expertise in the required skills to competently carry out necessary works. With a commitment to achieving the Investors in People standard, combined with a continual annual training plan, HB Jones (MIDLANDS) LIMITED can ensure that all staff are constantly up to date with the latest training and therefore fully qualified to deliver a high service of workmanship to the customer.
Our Office & Communications Team
Our office & communications team consists of qualified members of staff who have all attended specific training to ensure they are equipped to deal with every aspect of the office environment. The office based staff concentrate mainly on liaising with all contacts for the ongoing jobs; from the policy holder to confirm details and make sure they are aware of all procedures, to the site operatives and supervisors to keep track on works. It is also their responsibility to make sure all data input is correct and up to date, along with arranging work dates, scheduling jobs and general office duties.
The other members of the office & communications team, known as the ‘onsite communication liaisons' spend most of their time visiting ongoing jobs to liaise with both the onsite operatives and the policy holder of the property to assess that the work taking place is to the highest standard possible and report their findings back to the office. They are also the main contacts for their teams of onsite operatives in case of any queries whilst the works are ongoing. This is set up so that every aspect of the ongoing works can be dealt with quickly and efficiently to prevent any discomfort to the policy holder/property owner.
